Welcome!

Welcome to 3 AM Art

Post Archive

I asked my daughter last night when we got home, if she wanted to pretend to be Elsa. Dress up in a white dress, white fake fur jacket and pretend to be my model basically. She jumped with glee at the chance. I think more for the one on one time than anything else. Totally get it! I have three kids, so there are always lots of various, activities going on around here.

So we had some fun making cute, silly and happy faces. Then I had some more fun editing. Nothing more fun than editing and totally changing a photo to something else entirely.

Having kids at home, gives me lots of opportunities to practice different posing-modeling variations. Then with editing, so many options.

Yeah, she's a ham! A happy happy happy ham, I am so blessed! She saw me editing and asked me to turn the pic purple. Too fun! Then we got even sillier. Love this new star prop of mine, so cute.

Thanks for looking, Heather :)
Weee! I just got a message that told me one of my artsy fartsy photos on a cell phone case sold! WEE! Love it, never ever get bored of this happening. So cool.

This is the one that happened to sell on Society6. My shop is here.

Society6 does most of the work on this, so they get most of the money. I don't care tho. Just happy my art is out there making folks happy! Unfortunetely they only have cell phone covers for certain brands of cell phones, so like my Windows Phone, they don't carry them. I know of a place online tho that does sell them for all cellphones. I have used them before and my case is still in perfect condition. I drop my phone ALL the time too. Nothing hurt the case. It was a strong little bugger. You can go directly to my flickr account and see my case here.

Or you can look at it right here:

I upgraded my cell phone, so sadly it no longer fits. I still have it tho. I kept it with the old cell phone, it will go to one of my kids once they are a little older. I need to get a new case soon for my current cell. I'll update here or another post when I do. If you want a new, fun artsy case message me via email. I'll be happy to help you out. You can use my art or yours! I'm also available locally if you'd like to get a photo taken of you or your loved ones & put that image on your cell phone case. I might do this with my kids for my cell case. We shall see. <3 Heather :)

I make graphics for folks too. Blog banners, website banners, etsy shop banners and so on. My etsy shop is here for all your graphic art needs. I am really looking for models too though. :) I have so many ideas! I can come to you and shoot in your location or you can come & meet me to shoot in the places I'm looking at using for backdrops. Give me a email & let's talk!

<3 --Heather :)

I have been a photographer for many years. I got my first serious camera when my son Rory was born, before that I had a Kodak with the drop in film cartridges, a Sony Mavica that took floppies, and a "toy" camera in High School Photography class that I shot everywhere with. Cute little hand me down cameras as a child too. Now I'm shooting with Nikon, Fujifilm, and looking at getting a Canon next. I am really happy with my Fuji though, so I might get another one from Fuji for a backup camera.

I am looking into expanding my photography portfolio, so I can show on my website all the different kinds of photography I'm capable of doing. I'm interested in any kind of photography shoots, as many different kinds as I can learn.

I want to meet models that are interested in trading time with me. My photography skills for their modeling skills. If this is you, please get in touch with me. I have a project in mind, I'd like to work on with a model (s). I'm looking for both male & female models, and children as well. Several locations I'd like to try out. I am bursting with ideas for photo shoots.

Thanks for looking, Heather O'Connor :)
Today, I have some new artwork up for your perusal. I have added some new items to my Society6 shop. First item is; "Oh the Bokeh"

You can get; "Oh the Bokeh" on many things, different types of paper, printed, framed, even on a mug, cell phone case or pillow. Just look for this listing here. Or go right to my society6 shop directly. If you see any of my other work and would like it printed onto something please message me. I'd be happy to help folks out! This is my portfolio aka gallery on flickr.

My etsy shop is also back up now. So I'm available again for folks looking for blog banners, or other banners or web design or home decor projects too. Convo me on etsy for all your photography or graphic editing & design projects. I'm getting things organized over there still, but totally ready to start helping folks once again.

Soon I'll have some other handmade items on etsy as well. Looking forwards to adding loom knitted items to my shop, and also some baby lemon trees. My lemon trees are currently growing this years crop!
